Frequently asked questions
Everything about buying, selling and trading game consoles.
Buying
How do I find a console that fits my budget?
Open the Consoles page and use the filters for manufacturer, condition, region and price range. You can also sort by lowest or highest price.
How do I know a console really works?
Check the condition field, the full description and the photo gallery. Ask the seller for a short video or test details through the contact details on the listing, and read the reviews left by other members.
What does region mean and does it matter?
Consoles and some games are region-locked. NTSC-U is North America, PAL is Europe and NTSC-J is Japan. Make sure the region matches your games and your power supply.
How should I pay?
Agree payment directly with the seller. We recommend protected methods that offer buyer protection, and never paying by gift card or wire transfer to a stranger.
Selling
How do I list something for sale?
Create a free account, verify your email, then choose “Sell or trade” from your dashboard. Pick Console, Game or Accessory, fill in the details and publish.
What makes a listing sell faster?
Clear photos from several angles, an honest condition grade, a list of everything included and a fair price. Add alt text to your images so every buyer can understand them.
Does it cost anything to list?
Creating an account and publishing listings is free.
Can I save a listing as a draft?
Yes. Set the status to Draft to keep it private while you finish it, then switch it to Published.
Trading
How do trades work?
Set your listing type to “For Trade” or “Sale or Trade” and describe what you are looking for. Interested members contact you to agree the swap.
How do we keep trades fair?
Compare condition, region and included items on both sides, and consider adding cash to even out a difference in value.
How can I trade safely?
Prefer members with positive reviews, ship with tracking and insurance, and agree who ships first before you commit. Report anything suspicious through our contact page.
